The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort has been honoured with the “World’s Leading Luxury Resort” award at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final which took place on the Caribbean island of Anguilla on 7 December.

The resort triumphed over 500 other world-class resorts and hotels worldwide, which were all competing in 79 categories at this year’s awards.
Hailed as ‘Oscars of the travel industry’, WTAs are the most prestigious and well-known awards in the tourism industry. The Awards measure the excellence of the service providers by setting customer satisfaction as the top criterion, by which it can help further encourage the competitiveness and quality of the global tourism and hospitality industry
