VIETNAM TOURISM NEWS:
(TITC) – From Oct 27 to Nov 3, 2014, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) welcomed Turkish FAM trip delegation with participation of leading travel agencies in Turkey namely Golden Bay Tour, Far’n Away Travel, H.I.S Turizm, Setur Turizm, Dorak Tour.
In the framework of the FAM trip, the delegation visited a number of accommodations, interesting destinations and tourist craft villages in Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Hoi An, Ha Noi, Ha Long and Ninh Binh and met local tourism businesses.
Turkey has approximately 10 million tourist arrivals traveling abroad each year, hence becoming a potential market for Viet Nam tourism. The most popular destinations for Turkish tourists were cities in Europe and America, however, they are heading towards countries in Asia Pacific, especially the countries with attractive tourism resources, long-standing culture and direct flights.
On Dec 30, 2010, Turkish Airlines officially launched a direct flight from Istanbul to Ho Chi Minh City in Viet Nam and plans to launch another to Ha Noi in the coming time. This is a good chance for Vietnamese and Turkish tourists to visit and discover famous attractions and unique culture of the two countries.
Ms. Gülenay Gökgöz, representative of H.I.S Turizm said that Viet Nam is a beautiful country with hospitality people, temperate climate, good quality of accommodations and delicous culinary. The FAM trip not only aimed to promote Viet Nam tourism potential, but also to bring opportunity for the two sides to further cooperate in tourism sector.
